Merrit Long has his first career hat trick at Notre Dame. It took him all of four games to get there.

The Leading Edge 2026 midfielder went off on Saturday. He burned Hightstown for three goals and four assists to lead the Irish to a 12-7 win.

Long has scored multiple points in every game this season. The game marked career bests in goals, assists and points to go along with three ground balls.

Manasquan 8, Ocean City 3

’23 James Farinacci (Middlebury) was a matchup nightmare, burning Ocean City for four goals and an assist.

Seton Hall Prep 14, Columbia 0

’25 Nolan Sabel spearheaded the Pirates’ blowout with a goal and two assists, while ’24 LSM Patrick Quinn (Drexel) racked up five ground balls and ’23 defenseman Shawn Lyght (Notre Dame) grabbed two ground balls to lead the defense to a shutout.

’25 Joe DelMauro scored once for Seton Hall Prep, while ’23 Michael Dunleavy (UMBC) picked up a trio of ground balls.

Allentown 12, Robbinsville 7

The McCaffery brothers put on a clinic for Allentown. ’25 Sean McCaffery went off for five goals and three assists, while ’26 Brian McCaffery dished out three assists, scored once and won his only faceoff of the game in the win.

Johnson 13, Dayton 6

’26 Matt Robertazzi snapped home a hat trick to go with an assist to highlight Johnson’s win. ’26 Lucas Spearnock added a goal with an assist for the victors.

Mountain Lakes 10, Randolph 7

’24 Jordan Hernando (Bryant) won 10 of 18 faceoffs to push the Lakers past Randolph.

Madison 10, Vernon 4

’26 Matt Lutz pocketed a pair of goals and added an assist to pace Madison.

Manalapan 11, Middletown North 4

’26 Connor Doel stuffed 11 of the 15 shots on cage to preserve the win for Manalapan.

Somerville 12, Phillipsburg 3

’23 Lorenzo Varona (Hofstra) popped off for four goals and two assists for his third straight game of at least six points.

Chatham 6, Mendham 2

’24 Charlie Lowe doled out a pair of assists to lead the Chatham offense.

Shore 18, St. John Vianney 5

’25 Tucker Malfa won six of his 10 faceoffs and tallied a goal to spur Shore.

Hopewell Valley 6, East Brunswick 6

’25 Luke Caldwell tallied twice for Hopewell Valley.

Montgomery 12, North Hunterdon 11

’23 Trevor Brotons (Lehigh) racked up his third straight game of at least four assists, this time with five helpers to go with a goal, as part of a six-point day.

Ridgewood 7, Westfield 6

’24 defenseman Michael Marshall (Cornell) snatched up five ground balls in the quadruple-overtime marathon.

Highland Park 8, Don Bosco Prep 7

’26 John Devir buried a goal and set up another for Don Bosco.
