Bennett Raphalian picked a great time to have the best game of his Taft career.
The Leading Edge 2024 midfielder and Rutgers commit blasted home four goals to lead the Rhinos to a 15-13 win over Hill Academy, the No. 5 team in North America, according to NLFRankings.com.
Somerville 17, Watchung Hills 9
’23 Lorenzo Varona (Hofstra) was unstoppable for Somerville, scoring four times and setting up five more as the Pioneers ran away with it.
Summit 9, Scotch-Plains Fanwood 3
’24 Daniel Flaim (Villanova) set up teammates for goals three times and scored once, while ’24 Sean McCeney (Vermont) tallied twice in Summit’s win.
Pingry 14, Rutgers Prep 6
’25 Asher Ziv set up a whopping five goals and scored one of his own to pace Pingry. ’24 Graham Stevens (Harvard) made 11 saves to get the win. ’24 Charlie Sherman (Lehigh) buried a hat trick, ’26 Jonah Ziv scored twice and dished out an assist and ’26 Connor Lamb picked up four ground balls for Pingry.
Rumson-Fair Haven 16, Ocean Township 1
’23 Cole Cashion (Yale) paced the Bulldogs with two goals and two assists. ’24 Andy Croddick (Colgate) netted a goal in the win.
Christian Brothers 13, Middletown South 5
’24 Nick Blalock (Lafayette) served up five assists to go with a pair of goals to lead CBA. ’25 Davis Campbell and ’25 defenseman Quinn Kelly each scored once in the win.
Wall 19, Lacey 4
’25 Michael Hoerle was a man possessed for Wall, winning 19 of 21 faceoffs, picking up seven ground balls and scoring once to headline the rout.
’23 John McCurry (Navy) torched the defense for three goals and four assists. ’23 Connor Moore (Stevens) had two goals, an assist and a ground ball. ’24 Will Madden (Monmouth) secured a goal, an assist and a ground ball, while ’23 defenseman Dom Giglio (Monmouth) grabbed a trio of ground balls.
Westfield 15, Montclair 7
’24 defenseman Michael Marshall (Cornell) gobbled up a half-dozen ground balls to lead Westfield’s defense.
Mountain Lakes 11, Bergen Catholic 7
’24 Jordan Hernando (Bryant) went 12-for-21 at the faceoff stripe to pace the Lakers.
Delaware Valley 12, St. Peter’s Prep 3
’23 Nick Catino (Denver) denied 11 shots sent his way to get the win for Del Val.
Johnson 11, Morristown-Beard 10
’26 Matt Robertazzi buried four goals and added an assist, and ’24 Rob Tyra (Merrimack) chipped in two goals, three helpers and three ground balls as Johnson nipped Mo-Beard. ’26 Lucas Spearnock tacked on a pair of ground balls.
Columbia 9, Millburn 5
’26 Gabe O’Brien fired home a pair of goals to help Columbia win for the first time this season.
Manalapan 11, Freehold Township 9
’26 Connor Doel turned aside four shots in a half of work in the win.
Shore 17, Long Branch 1
’25 Tucker Malfa was dominant at the faceoff stripe, winning 16 of 18 battles and scoring a pair of goals.

’23 James Farinacci (Middlebury) tossed home a pair of goals in Manasquan’s blowout win.
