Luke Caldwell was absolutely unstoppable for Hopewell Valley.

The Leading Edge 2025 attackman went off for a career day in HV’s 17-2 win over West Windsor-Plainsboro North. Caldwell set career highs with six assists and 11 points, as well as tying a career-best with five goals, in the rout.

Caldwell, who also picked up six ground balls, is off to an incredibly-hot start with 24 points in three games.

Princeton 13, Notre Dame 12

’25 Brendan Beatty buried five goals, including the go-ahead goal and game-winner 1:25 apart, as Princeton fended off Notre Dame’s comeback attempt. ’26 Merrit Long paired two goals and two assists for the Irish.

North Hunterdon 20, Phillipsburg 11

’23 Trevor Brotons (Lehigh) piled up a monster day with an 11-point day in his team’s win. Brotons handed out seven assists to go with four goals for the second double-digit point day of his career as North Hunterdon won for the first time this year.

Delbarton 16, Pope John 3

’25 Bobby Cusimano tallied his first three career points with two goals and an assist, ’24 Jack Sartorius had his first two career points with a goal and an assist and ’25 Asher Testa also scored as the Green Wave rolled. ’24 Patrick Roelke (Lafayette) stopped one shot in split duty.

’26 Marco Aquino tallied once and set up another goal for Pope John.

Hunterdon Central 12, Hillsborough 4

’23 Sean Creter (Maryland) was his usual dominant self for HC. The future Terp won 17 of 20 faceoffs to go with a ridiculous four goals and one assist to lead the Red Devils to their first win of the season.

Shore 9, Holy Spirit 8

’25 Tucker Malfa won five of nine faceoffs and picked up two ground balls to help Shore win its second straight to open the season.

Bernards 14, Immaculata 2

’24 David Brothers (Wagner) piled up a hat trick and three assists to lead Bernards.

Warren Hills 18, High Point 3

’25 Johnny Korczukowski netted his second straight hat trick to go with an assist and two ground balls as Warren Hills cruised.

St. Augustine Prep 14, Clearview 4

’25 defenseman Jack Gounaris got in on the offensive fun with his first career goal as the Hermits cruised.

Ridgewood 15, Wall 7

’23 Connor Moore (Stevens) paced Wall with two goals. ’23 John McCurry (Navy), ’25 Michael Hoerle and ’23 defenseman Billy Carr (Denver) all chipped in a goal apiece. ’23 defenseman Dom Giglio (Monmouth) dished out an assist and won a faceoff.

Point Pleasant Boro 12, Donovan Catholic 5

’25 LSM Michael Poskay vacuumed up three ground balls for Donovan Catholic.
