It turns out that Brian McCaffery is a freaking cheat code for Allentown.

The Leading Edge 2026 faceoff midfielder and Virginia commit was an all-around weapon for the Redbirds in a 19-7 win over West Windsor-Plainsboro South. All he did was win 26 of 28 faceoffs, score six goals and dish out two assists.

Oh, and he also picked up 16 ground ball. Decent day, we suppose. His brother, ’25 Sean McCaffery (Quinnipiac), wasn’t bad either. The elder McCaffery handed out seven assists and scored twice to further kickstart the offense.

Notre Dame 10, Haddonfield 8

’26 Merritt Long (Army) handed out four assists to go with two goals and two ground balls to pace the Irish.

’28 LSM Max Sinnes countered with a goal and three ground balls for Haddonfield, which also got a ground ball from ’28 defenseman Brady Shim.

Seton Hall Prep 11, Westfield 5

’25 Nolan Sabel (Villanova) buried four goals, added three assists and secured a pair of ground balls to lift the Pirates past the Blue Devils.

’25 Teddy Coyle (Middlebury) won nine of 12 faceoffs for the Pirates, who also got two goals and two assists from ’25 Joe DelMauro (Utah)’25 Conor Keenan (Lafayette) stoned nine shots fired his way and ’26 Owen Dunleavy (UMBC) tallied once. The LSM duo of ’26 Sean Hayes (Saint Joseph’s) and ’27 Jagger Zemachson each snatched up two ground balls.

Chatham 11, Northern Highlands 5

’26 Kyle Gibney (Vermont) racked up his sixth straight hat trick to start the year with a four-goal, two-assist day as Chatham rolled.

The Cougars also got a goal and two ground balls from ’25 defenseman Carter Newman (RPI)’26 defenseman Lochlan Mahoney vacuumed up a trio of ground balls in the win.

Princeton 10, Rutgers Prep 8

’25 Brendan Beatty (Vermont) netted a hat trick and added two assists to pace Princeton.

Eastern 12, Lenape 2

’25 defenseman Thomas Keating (UMBC) collected two ground balls to pace a stingy defensive outing from Eastern.

Kingsway 17, St. Joseph 3

’27 defenseman Cole DeNick corralled a pair of ground balls in the Kingsway rout.
