Brian Tevlin continues to be a man of many talents for Notre Dame.

The Leading Edge 2017 midfielder and Seton Hall Prep alum was at it again for the Irish. This time, Tevlin scored once, took the ball away twice and picked up a ground ball to lead top-ranked Notre Dame to a 16-9 win over North Carolina on Saturday.

Fellow Leading Edge and SHP product ’18 Griffin Westlin canned both of his shots to pace the Irish offense.

Cornell 16, Brown 9

’20 CJ Kirst (Delbarton) continued his ridiculous sophomore campaign with six goals, three assists, three ground balls and two caused turnovers to pace the Big Red’s blowout.

’21 LSM Gibson Linnehan (Princeton Day) vacuumed up two ground balls for the Bears.

Virginia 19, Syracuse 12

’21 defenseman Griffin Kology (Chatham) collected a trio of ground balls and caused a turnover as the ‘Hoos cruised.

’18 Cole Kirst (Seton Hall Prep) paced the Orange with a hat trick, an assist and two ground balls.

Villanova 16, Marquette 15

’20 defenseman Reid Colwell (Westfield) went off for the Wildcats, taking the ball away three times – including two in the fourth quarter – and collecting five ground balls to help ‘Nova win in overtime.

’18 Will Vitton (Summit) made six saves in the Villanova cage to go with two ground balls.

’20 Luke Blanc (Seton Hall Prep) paced the Golden Eagles with a hat trick on three shots to go with a ground ball. ’19 Chris Kirschner (Immaculata) added a ground ball

Holy Cross 13, UMass-Lowell 9

’21 Calahan McPherson (Pingry) led a stingy defensive effort from his SSDM spot with a takeaway and two ground balls and ’22 Tyler Marmo (Avon Old Farms, Conn.) grabbed two ground balls as the Crusaders won for the first time this year.

Penn 17, Dartmouth 6

’22 LSM Ryan McLaughlin (Mountain Lakes) recorded his first multi-takeaway game with two caused turnovers and a pair of ground balls in Penn’s romp.

Penn State 14, Rutgers 5

’21 defenseman Kevin Parnham (Pingry) ripped the ball away once and grabbed a ground ball to help the Nittany Lions earn a share of the Big Ten regular-season championship.

’20 Jack Aimone (Hunterdon Central) found the back of the net once to go with a ground ball for the Scarlet Knights. ’21 Logan Peters (Wall) chipped in a ground ball for Rutgers.

Robert Morris 18, Lindenwood 12

’19 Liam Rosenthal (Central Bucks East, Pa.) stopped eight shots and snagged two ground balls in split duty as the Colonials cruised. ’21 Brendan Cina (Sparta) set up an RMU goal.

Utah 19, Cleveland State 12

’21 LSM Colby Plotts (Sparta) snagged four ground balls, took the ball away once and set up a goal as the Utes rang up their eighth straight win.

Air Force 15, Jacksonville 11

’19 Gavin Peene (Ridgewood) tallied once to lead the Falcons to the win.

Yale 14, Albany 6

’22 Konrad Miklaszewski (Montclair) snagged two ground balls to lead Yale’s defense.

Richmond 20, Hobart 15

’20 defenseman Jack Fabean (Manasquan) grabbed a ground ball to lead the Spiders.

Lafayette 14, Bucknell 13

’22 Jaz Zanelli (Seton Hall Prep) was strong in the Bison cage, rebuffing 10 shots sent his way.

Albany 13, Merrimack 11

’21 Andrew Williams (St. Peter’s Prep) handed out a helper for Merrimack.

Loyola 17, Colgate 11

’21 Jack Turner (Ridge) pocketed a goal for the Raiders.

Manhattan 6, Wagner 2

’22 Chase Alber (Scotch Plains-Fanwood) had a ground ball for the Seahawks.

Towson 15, Monmouth 11

’19 Matt Karsian (Ramapo) picked up a ground ball for the Hawks.

Tampa 10, Seton Hill 8

’19 Canyon Birch (Manasquan) led the Spartans to their fourth straight win by virtue of his two-goal, one-assist, two-ground ball day.

’22 Cullen Decker (Chatham) dished out two assists and scored a goal in the Diplomats’ win before adding a goal, an assist and two ground balls against the Mules.

’19 Tyler Neal (Delaware Valley) bagged a hat trick, two assists and a ground ball to help the Bears topple WAC. That came on the heels of a superb five-goal, one-assist, three-ground ball day for Ursinus.

Williams 16, MIT 8
Williams 10, Wesleyan 9

’22 Cade Schuckman (Mountain Lakes) put together a two-goal, one-assist effort and ’22 Will Doran (Princeton) added a pair of tallies and a ground ball as Williams doubled up MIT.

Schuckman then contributed a goal and a helper as the Ephs toppled Wesleyan.

Tufts 22, Hamilton 12

’19 LSM Lane McCarty (Delaware Valley) chipped in a ground ball to help the Jumbos stay perfect.

Middlebury 17, Amherst 11

’19 Thomas Ehret (Lawrenceville) doled out an assist for Amherst.
