An extra season away from the field was more than enough waiting for CJ Kirst. He made sure to announce his arrival in style on Saturday.
The Leading Edge 2020 attackman by way of Delbarton ripped home four goals and added three assists as Cornell downed Albany, 16-8, in the Big Red’s first game since early 2020.
Kirst also collected four ground balls and caused a turnover. It’s safe to say that the freshman’s probably going to be sticking around in the starting lineup.
