Nick Filippone is going into his 21st season coaching at Leading Edge. Nick was an All Long Island Midfielder at Northport HS, followed by a great career at Rutgers University where he was a 4-year starter and defensive Captain. Nick coached 3 seasons at Kean University and is the current head coach at Manalapan HS. Nick was the NJ Assistant Coach of the Year at Cranford HS in 2015 and was named the Shore Conference Head Coach of the Year in 2024. He resides in Marlboro with his wife, Tonia, and two sons, Cole and Julian.
