The 2026–27 season marks 23 summers of excellence for Leading Edge Elite. For more than two decades, we have built a tradition of developing exceptional players and competing against the nation's premier club lacrosse programs.
With more than 600 players trying out annually and only one team per graduation year, earning a Leading Edge Elite roster spot is a significant accomplishment. Our highly competitive selection process is built around one objective: assembling the strongest possible team at every age level.
Being selected for Leading Edge Elite means more than making a team. It means training alongside exceptional teammates, learning from accomplished coaches, and testing yourself against the strongest competition in the country.
As New Jersey's only founding member of the prestigious National Lacrosse Federation (NLF), Leading Edge Elite provides access to premier national tournaments, exclusive showcases, and valuable recruiting opportunities.
Our standard is simple: Elite players. Elite coaching. Elite competition. An environment designed to challenge athletes, accelerate their development, and prepare them to compete at the highest level.

At Leading Edge, we believe that talent creates opportunity, but character, commitment, and hard work define success. Our mission is to bring together exceptional young athletes who share a passion for the game, a desire to improve, and the determination to compete at the highest level.
We are committed to creating an environment that challenges players to reach their full potential while instilling the values of discipline, accountability, leadership, and teamwork. We believe the lessons learned through competition extend far beyond the lacrosse field.
Our responsibility is greater than developing elite lacrosse players. It is to help shape confident, disciplined, and resilient young men who are prepared to succeed in college, in competition, and in life.

At Leading Edge, success is measured not only by wins and championships, but by the opportunities we help create for our players beyond the club level. Our commitment to elite coaching, player development, and national competition has produced an exceptional record of success.
More than 80% of our high school elite players have received offers to play NCAA Division I lacrosse, and 100% have gone on to compete at the collegiate level.

How We Accomplish Our Objective
Provide a staff of the most accomplished coaching talent available, with a passion for the Leading Edge Elite mission.
Enter our teams in the most competitive tournaments that are reasonably available to us.
Create a practice schedule that is dominated by a work ethic designed to maximize skill levels and the competitiveness of our team.
Maintain highly credible relationships with college lacrosse coaches and facilitate the recruiting process.
