Graham Stevens is still a brick wall.

Penn found that out the hard way this weekend when Stevens racked up 16 saves to help Harvard stay hot with a 12-9 win over the Quakers. The Leading Edge 2024 standout by way of Pingry made double-digit stops for the fourth time in six games this year and is in the top 10 nationally in save percentage at 60 percent. He also collected three ground balls in the win.

’25 defenseman Quinn Kelly (Christian Brothers) caused a turnover to also spearhead the defensive effort.

Bucknell 14, Colgate 12

’22 goalie Jaz Zanelli (Seton Hall Prep) came in cold off the bench and sparked the Bison’s comeback win with six saves against just three goals allowed in relief. Zanelli also dished out an assist and picked up a pair of ground balls for Bucknell, which won for the fourth time in five games.

Notre Dame 9, Michigan 4

’23 defenseman Shawn Lyght (Seton Hall Prep) headlined a super stingy defensive day from the Irish with two takeaways and a ground ball.

Richmond 17, Delaware 5

’25 Cole Hayden (Immaculata) snapped home the first two goals of his Spider career to headline the Richmond rout. Hayden also chipped in an assist for his first three-point game.

’23 John McCurry (Wall) snagged a ground ball for the Blue Hens.

Cornell 18, Brown 9

’24 defenseman Michael Marshall (Westfield) tallied his first career three-ground ball day, complete with a takeaway, to guide the Big Red to a mauling of the Bears.

Duke 21, Providence 5

’22 faceoff midfielder Luke Engelke (Pingry) won three faceoffs and scooped up a trio of ground balls as the Blue Devils rolled. ’21 goalie Henry Blake (Brewster, N.H.) made a save in relief for Duke.

Rutgers 21, Bellarmine 8

’24 Bennett Raphalian (Taft, Conn.) snapped home a goal, set up another and corralled a ground ball as Rutgers rolled. The Scarlet Knights also got a ground ball and a takeaway from ’22 Andrew Macheca (Culver, Ind.).

Drexel 12, Monmouth 8

’24 LSM Patrick Quinn (Seton Hall Prep) dislodged a turnover to highlight a strong defensive day from the Dragons.

’22 Matt Dollive (Wall) led the Hawks with three ground balls and an assist.

Towson 17, Villanova 11

’23 LSM Jake Melchionni (Delbarton) was once again a force off the ground with eight ground balls and a caused turnover, plus a pair of goals, for the Wildcats. ’23 defenseman Beau Kemler (Rumson-Fair Haven) caused three turnovers to go with three ground balls. ’22 David Link (Delbarton) scored twice and added a ground ball, while ’25 Nolan Sabel (Seton Hall Prep) dished out an assist for Villanova.

Vermont 10, UMBC 5

’22 Cullen Decker (Chatham) pocketed a four-goal day to go with a takeaway as the Catamounts doubled up UMBC.

’23 Ryan Demato (St. Augustine Prep) matched Decker’s four-spot and added two ground balls for the Retrievers.

Stony Brook 12, Hofstra 7

’22 Mikey Kloepfer (Scotch Plains-Fanwood) buried a game-sealing goal and picked up a ground ball as the Seawolves knocked off their Long Island rivals.

Princeton 11, Yale 10

’25 Dylan Blekicki (Pingry) tallied once and grabbed three ground balls, while ’23 Cole Cashion (Rumson-Fair Haven) had a goal, an assist and a ground ball as Yale nearly toppled the Tigers. ’22 LSM Konrad Miklaszewski (Montclair) took the ball away once and grabbed a ground ball for the Bulldogs.

Syracuse 17, Air Force 11

’25 defenseman Jack Gounaris (St. Augustine Prep) collected a pair of ground balls for the Falcons.

Albany 13, Bryant 7

’24 faceoff midfielder Jordan Hernando (Mountain Lakes) won a pair of faceoffs to go with a ground ball for the Bulldogs.

Canisius 9, Quinnipiac 8

’25 Sean McCaffery (Allentown) won eight of 14 faceoffs and picked up a half-dozen ground balls for the Bobcats.

Marist 10, Merrimack 9

’24 Rob Tyra (Arthur L. Johnson) was a major presence for the Warriors with two assists, two ground balls and a takeaway.

Holy Cross 11, Lafayette 9

’24 Nick Blalock (Christian Brothers / Hill School, Pa.) tallied once and engulfed three ground balls for the Leopards. ’24 defenseman John Finkeldie (Delbarton) secured one ground ball for Lafayette.

Division II

Rollins 10, Lewis 9

’23 goalie Nick Catino (Delaware Valley) turned aside five shots and scooped up a ground ball in a half of work as the Tars nipped Lewis.

’25 faceoff midfielder Phil Minardo (Delbarton) had a dominant weekend at the Mustang Classic to lead the way to a pair of top-15 wins for RIT. Minardo was out of this world against W&L, winning 20 of 28 faceoffs, grabbing 14 ground balls and scoring a goal. Minardo was also brilliant against the Bullets, winning nine of 14 faceoffs, grabbing six ground balls and scoring a goal.

’22 James Haley (Westfield) was outstanding all weekend for the Generals. He torched Stevenson to the tune of four goals, an assist and a ground ball. Haley then added a five-goal, two-assist, three-ground ball, one-takeaway day against the Tigers. ’25 Luke Caldwell (Hopewell Valley) had a two-goal, two-assist, three-ground ball day in W&L’s win before chipping in three ground balls and a takeaway. ’24 LSM Gabe Reiter (Delbarton) vacuumed up three ground balls in the win before adding an assist, two ground balls and a takeaway against RIT.

’23 Connor Moore (Wall) pocketed a goal in the win.

Babson 14, Middlebury 9

’23 Bo Page (Taft) was the hero for Trinity in its win over Union as his second goal of the game came with 25 seconds to play and capped a comeback from down 10-8. Page also added a ground ball. He tallied twice, set up two more goals, caused two turnovers and grabbed a ground ball against the Panthers.

’23 James Farinacci (Manasquan) grabbed a ground ball against the Bantams. ’25 faceoff midfielder Teddy Coyle (Seton Hall Prep) won a faceoff against the Beavers.

Williams 15, Vassar 9
Bowdoin 17, Williams 7

’24 Jack Sartorius (Delbarton, five ground balls) and ’22 Will Doran (Princeton, two ground balls) each fired home four goals to spark the Ephs past Vassar. ’22 Cade Schuckman (Mountain Lakes) contributed an assist and a ground ball.

Sartorius kept the offense going against Bowdoin with a hat trick and a ground ball. Schuckman sniped a pair of goals, while Doran set two up.
