David Link was the catalyst in Villanova‘s monster Big East win over St. John‘s.

The Leading Edge 2022 alum by way of Delbarton tied his career best with a whopping five assists to go with a goal for a six-point day as the Wildcats rolled past the Johnnies, 21-7, Saturday.

’23 LSM Jake Melchionni (Delbarton) also scored to go with a whopping six ground balls and two takeaways. ’25 Nolan Sabel (Seton Hall Prep) handed out three assists. ’23 defenseman Beau Kemler (Rumson-Fair Haven) pulled off a ludicrous eight-ground ball day to go with an assist. ’24 Ryan Martin (Christian Brothers) set up a goal and collected a pair of ground balls.

North Carolina 17, Harvard 7

’24 goalie Graham Stevens (Pingry) had a monumental night with a whopping 22 saves and a ground ball to help the Crimson fend off the Terriers’ upset bid. ’25 defenseman Quinn Kelly (Christian Brothers) added a ground ball in front of Stevens in the win.

Stevens then denied 14 shots fired his way and added three ground balls against the Tar Heels. Kelly paired two caused turnovers with two ground balls.

Bucknell 14, Lafayette 13

’22 goalie Jaz Zanelli (Seton Hall Prep) denied 10 snapped his way, including one in overtime, to help the Bison topple the Leopards.

’24 Nick Blalock (Christian Brothers / Hill School, Pa., one ground ball, one takeaway) once again shouldered the scoring load for the Leopards with two goals and an assist. ’24 defenseman John Finkeldie (Delbarton) took the ball away once and collected a ground ball for Lafayette.

Yale 13, Cornell 12

’25 Dylan Blekicki (Pingry) tallied once and set up a goal from ’23 Cole Cashion (Rumson-Fair Haven) as the Bulldogs upset the defending national champions.

’24 defenseman Michael Marshall (Westfield) vacuumed up a ground ball for Cornell.

Vermont 14, NJIT 5

’22 Cullen Decker (Chatham) kickstarted the Catamounts’ win with a goal and two assists. ’24 Sean McCeney (Summit) set up a goal in the win.

Monmouth 20, Hampton 10

’24 Will Madden (Wall) caused his first career turnover and snagged his first career ground ball as the Hawks soared past Hampton. ’22 Matt Dollive (Wall) secured two ground balls and dished out an assist.

UMBC 12, Bryant 11

’23 Ryan Demato (St. Augustine Prep) snapped home a hat trick to go with an assist to fuel the Retrievers’ run.

’24 faceoff midfielder Jordan Hernando (Mountain Lakes) won 11 of 22 faceoffs and collected a half-dozen ground balls for the Bulldogs.

Colgate 16, Navy 15

’22 defenseman Ryan Bilello (Manasquan) had three ground balls and a takeaway, while ’24 SSDM Andy Croddick (Rumson-Fair Haven) added one of each to help the Raiders sink the Midshipmen in double overtime.

Richmond 24, Hobart 8

’25 Cole Hayden (Immaculata) grabbed a ground ball as the Spiders remained perfect.

Stony Brook 16, Fairfield 10

’22 Mikey Kloepfer (Scotch Plains-Fanwood) picked up a ground ball in the Seawolves’ win.

Syracuse 16, Duke 15

’21 goalie Henry Blake (Brewster, N.H.) performed admirably in relief, making six saves and grabbing a ground ball for the Blue Devils. ’25 LSM Will Pedicano (Delbarton) caused a turnover for Duke.

’22 LSM Ryan McLaughlin (Mountain Lakes) caused a turnover as the Quakers pulled off an improbable comeback over the Big Green.

’24 Quinn Stankovits (Deerfield, Mass.) tallied once for Dartmouth against the Wahoos.

’23 defenseman Shawn Lyght (Seton Hall Prep) secured a ground ball for the Irish.

’24 Rob Tyra (Arthur L. Johnson) buried a goal to help the Warriors knock the Gaels off. Tyra chipped in a ground ball against the Bobcats.

Jacksonville 16, Air Force 10

’25 defenseman Jack Gounaris (St. Augustine Prep) knocked away a turnover for the Falcons.

Sacred Heart 15, Hofstra 13

’23 Lorenzo Varona (Somerville) picked up a ground ball for the Pride.

’25 Charlie Lowe (Chatham) secured three ground balls as Bates picked up a huge NESCAC win over the Ephs.

’22 Will Doran (Princeton) popped off for Williams in its win over the No. 5 Seagulls. Doran torched Salisbury for four goals and an assist before adding a hat trick and six ground balls against the Bobcats. ’24 Jack Sartorius (Delbarton, one assist) and ’22 Cade Schuckman (Mountain Lakes, one ground ball) each scored once in the win over Salisbury. Both added a hat trick against Bates, with Schuckman tossing out two assists and Sartorius adding a pair of ground balls.

’23 Bo Page (Taft, Conn.) went off for four goals, an assist and five ground balls as the Bantams doubled up Skidmore. He added a hat trick, an assist and five ground balls against the Seagulls.

’25 faceoff midfielder Phil Minardo (Delbarton) won a combined 13 of 21 faceoffs, complete with seven ground balls, as the Tigers mauled their way to a week sweep.

’23 Connor Moore (Wall) netted a goal in the Stevens win.

St. John Fisher 29, Sage 2

’25 John Korczukowski (Warren Hills) pocketed a goal as SJF rolled.

Randolph-Macon 10, Washington & Lee 8

’22 James Haley (Westfield) was at the forefront of the Generals’ offense with a combined seven goals, four assists, two ground balls and a takeaway. ’25 Luke Caldwell (Hopewell Valley) had two goals and three assists against Guilford and added a ground ball against Randolph-Macon. ’24 LSM Gabe Reiter (Delbarton) racked up a trio of ground balls against Randolph-Macon.

Tufts 17, Middlebury 7

’25 faceoff midfielder Teddy Coyle (Seton Hall Prep) won a faceoff and collected a ground ball for the Panthers.
